ATIS
The ATIS, or Automatic Terminal Information Service, is a broadcast that pilots listen to prior to contacting Ground. This feature is now available in the sim and is an important tool for controllers to quickly relay necessary information. Pilots MUST listen to ATIS (when available) prior to requesting pushback. This video will give you a good understanding of how to use this feature as a pilot. Note: The ATIS is only available on the Expert Server.

The CRJ200 is different in some ways than the 700, 900, and 1000 variants. One difference is it does not have as much power as the other three both in the sim and in the real world. We cover the basics for taking off, climb to cruise, as well as cruise speeds in this tutorial.
