A. You can type /pirep in any channel or chat on the AFKLM VA Slack. The bot will send you a link seconds later.
Q. I was Flying from EHAM to EDDL and Back and went to the/pirep center and filed my flight, but I still do not have any hours (i have used /pilotstats).

Q. If I wanna fly LFPO-LPMA (Transavia) do I just log it as a non hub flight?
A. If your hub is not LFPO, you will need to log that flight as a non hub flight. Remember: You only have four non hub flights per month.
Q. GVAC is not In the pirep. And I can't log it as it's not inside.
A. If GVAC is in our Route Database (AirTable) but not in our Pirep system, contact XY. If GVAC is not in our Route Database, the flight cannot be logged.
Q. The airplane I used (Dash Q400) isn't in the Pirep. What should I do?
If you were allowed to use a plane, which is not in our Pirep system, (e.g. Event) chose a random plane from the list, fill in the missing information as usual and add a note, that you used plane XY.
Q. Is FMMI ( Madagascar ) a KLM route. Could have sworn I seen this on the air table and just completed a10 hour flight there. Or am I going mad ( don’t answer that) just the first question?

Planes without our livery:
Q. Hello VA members. I just wanted to know what livery of the a330 do we use as the Air France codeshare for flight AF136?
A. If you see the A330 listed in our Route Database, you can use the Generic or Airbus livery.
Q. Also, I have a question: Why can't HOP! flights operated in an Embraer be operated in the generic livery of the ERJ-175 and ERJ-190.
A HOP! livery for the ERJ planes is nonexistent in Infinite Flight. Therefore you will need to operate all HOP! flights using the CRJ-700 or 1000.
Q. My hub is EHAM can I use Transavia B738.

A. Our Airtable only lists all of our routes, that pilots can fly and log. If you are Rank 1, you may fly and log Regional Flights. Our Airtable does not include the actual routing. You are responsible to find a suitable routing. SimBrief is a popular site used.

You can request a hub change once a month. As soon as your request receives a check mark, your hub is changed and you can fly from your new hub.
Q. What is the difference between one-way, round-trip, multi-leg, Fifth Freedom, and Codeshare Connection Routes?
Q. Do I have to fly the same aircraft on a multi-leg route?
No. You can fly any aircraft assigned to the route and may switch throughout the legs so long as the aircraft is approved for the route.

Q. When I’m rank 4, I’m also able to fly AF short-haul, right?
As soon as you have reached Rank 4, you can fly for Air France and KLM. You still need to stick to your hub. If you passed the four-week marker, you can request a hub change in #hubs. Remember: A hub change is only possible once a month.
Q. With rank 3, am I allowed to fly with the 772&773 but only medium haul flights? Some of them are operated with 739 and there are only in total 7 medium haul routes.
