The new AFKLM Academy Certification Flight program is now in effect, led by John P [Chief Pilot] and a talented team of flight instructors, including Joslley [AFKLM014] and Jeremy [AFKLM015]. A special thank you to Michael [AFKLM215] ]and our friends/partners at Delta Virtual for providing the framework and guidance that made it possible!
Our goal is to ensure that every pilot who bears the “AFKLM” callsign does so professionally, creating a better experience for you and all those around you.
How It Works:
AFKLM and DHL are partnering this Saturday, June 15th to serve up some freight! We will be flying AFKLM and DHL short-haul routes using the MD-11F (Martinair) and B757F (DHL) .
This is a great opportunity to add some variety to the traditional passenger mix – and to take advantage of the majestic MD-11F. All pilots, regardless of rank, are eligible to attend and will receive a 1.5x flight time bonus.

Hope to see many of you this Saturday!
As part of the many new features included in the rollout of the new website, I am excited to announce our new “Charts” database! Moving forward, we will house all airport charts and Terminal Parking info for hubs and destination airports in the AFKLM Crew Centre database. In addition to find the Crew Centre, you can pull the charts directly via Slack using the /charts command or via your PC browser via button below.
A very special thanks to the following members who have populated the database thus far and made this possible:
Our ultimate goal is to provide you with approach/departure charts and taxi/gate info for all 319 destinations serviced by AFKLM Virtual.. Of course, this is a massive endeavor. But we will make it happen! And we are well on our way there!
